Captain Promotion PDF Print E-mail
On September 7, 2010 the Collierville Police Department will hold a promotional ceremony for the rank of Captain.  In August a promotional exercise was concluded and the recipient of the promotion was named.  Lt. Sean Williams was the successful candidate and will take command of the Community Services Division on the date of his promotion.  Lt. Williams has been employed with the department since 1994.  He has served with distinction in multiple divisions and units including the Criminal Investigation Division and the Uniform Patrol Division.  His experience in the Uniform Patrol Division includes assignments to the bike patrol unit and the SWAT Team.  He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2006 and served as a Field Commander in the Patrol Division.  In 2008 he became the SWAT Team Commander.  Lt. Williams promotion coincides with other command level moves within the department.  Captain Mike Albonetti will take command of the Uniform Patrol Division and Captain Chris Locke will take command of the Criminal Investigation Division.
