Collierville's Night Out Against Crime

Collierville's Night Out Against Crime is set for August 2, 2011!

REGISTER HERE!

2002_1National Night Out is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs.
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, towns and neighborhoods celebrate National Night Out with a variety of events and activities such as:

  • block parties
  • cookouts
  • parades
  • flashlight walks
  • contests
  • youth programs

National Night Out has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation. Plus, the benefits your community will derive from National Night Out will most certainly extend well beyond the one night.

If you wish to participate in this year's celebration, please call the Collierville Police Department's Community Services Division at 457-2562, and let them know that your neighborhood, block or subdivision desires to participate, or complete the online registration.
